Two new Citizens were welcomed into the United Kingdom at a ceremony held earlier today at the Speirs Centre in Alloa.
Vice Lord-Lieutenant, John Spruce, was on hand to pass over a Certificate of Naturalisation to Asha Rani. She was originally from India but has been in the UK since 2011, originally in Birmingham but came to Clackmannanshire in 2018 where she lives with her partner and son and also works part-time as a Beauty Therapist.
Also receiving his Certificate was Ramez Alzein who now lives in Sauchie having come from Syria six years ago. He is studying at Forth Valley College.
