Lord-Lieutenant Johnny Stewart had much pleasure in attending Alloa Academy on Monday 26th November to open the new cafe which is to be run by the pupils themselves. The school has worked with both the Parent and local Community Councils to bring this about.
Johnny said that it had been a pleasure to open such a forward thinking enterprise which not only supported the pupils in preparation for becoming part of the work force but also made the school all the more welcoming for the community.
