A whole family of new Citizens from Zimbabwe was welcomed to the country at a Ceremony held last week in the Speirs Centre in Alloa, attended by the Vice Lord-Lieutenant John Spruce and by Lorrain Sanda on behalf of the local authority.
Chiedza Chirinda has been living in Alloa since May 2019 with her family joining her in December of the same year. She is employed as a bank nurse at a Care Home in Stirling and is also an agency nurse. She has 2 children from a previous relationship who will also be receiving their British Citizenship – Kevin Jaji and Panashe Admire Carlton Jaji.
Innocent Mazadza is the husband of Chiedza and is employed as a senior care assistant at a Care Home, Dunblane. He has 2 children from a previous relationship who will also be receiving their British Citizenship – Twins Catherine Mazadza and Matthew Mazadza.
Kevin Jaji is a software engineer at High Street Banking Group.
Panashe Admire Carlton Jaji is also a care assistant at the Dunblane care home.
Catherine Mazadza is a 3rd year student nurse at Glasgow Caledonian University and works part-time as a health care assistant with NHS Glasgow.
Matthew Mazadza is studying at Fife College for an HNC in Designing and works part-time as a Barista at Powmill.
Chiedza and Innocent have a child together – Tadiwanashe Divine Mazadza. Tadiwanashe is in P5 at Tillicoultry Primary School and he played a full part in the ceremony.
There were 5 invited guests of the family at the ceremony which was a very happy occasion indeed
