George and Marie Forsyth of Alva recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary. They were joined at home this afternoon by Provost Donald Balsillie and Deputy Lieutenant Craig Dunbar both of whom brought a small gift from the County and Crown to help mark this momentous occasion. They had already marked the event at a lunch with over twenty members of their extended family.
