Mary and George Burt of Croftshaw Raod, Alva met at a dance at the Cochrane Hall in Alva and married on 5th April 1958. They continue to live in the town as do members of their family and were planning to have a family celebration in the Cochrane Hall on Saturday 7th April. The couple are pictured with Deputy Lieutenant Anne Spruce and Provost Tina Murphy at home on the afternoon of their big day.
