Lord-Lieutenant Lt Col (Retd) Johnny Stewart LVO was delighted to be on hand on Wednesday 24th April when four new Citizens were presented with their Certificates of Naturalisation at a ceremony at the Speirs Centre in Alloa, organised by the District Registrar.
Bernadette Kwizera is originally from Burundi and although she has lived in the United Kingdom for 25 years, has only been in Alloa since 2021 where she is a Social care Practitioner. Development Engineer, Muhammed Mateen, has lived in Clackmannanshire for 2 years with his wife and young sons but has been in the UK for 11 years.
Chloe Irene Whyte was born in Edinburgh but obtained Italian Citizenship through her mother. She was joined at the ceremony by both parents and her partner Miki Max. Akshit Singh has lived in the UK for 15 years, having come to Liverpool in 2009 from Karnal., India. He moved to Clackmannanshire earlier this year. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Business School at Stirling University.
