Deputy Lieutenant Hector Nicolson attended today at Tom and Elizabeth Brown's Fishcross home to congratulate them on their diamond wedding.
Tom and Elizabeth, who were 19 and 20 years of age respectively when married in Sauchie UF Church on 10 March, 1962, have two daughters, a son, 9 grand children and 8 great grand children with a 9th due soon.
The couple have enjoyed a whirlwind 60 years together surrounded by close family and friends. They have travelled extensively to foreign countries in that time.
