Najwa Solamain Abo Ghlyoun was presented today with her Certificate of Naturalisation by Vice Lord-Lieutenant John Spruce at a small, family ceremony organised, as ever, by the District Registrar. She is originally from Syria and she and her husband, Ebrahim, who have two sons and two daughters, now live locally. Ebrahim was presented with his own Certificate at a Ceremony held at the beginning of April. The party was joined by Provost Donald Balsillie and are all shown in the attached photo.
