Citizen of the Year 2018

The Lord-Lieutenant attended the presentation of the Clackmannnanshire Citizen of the Year award at the Speirs Centre, Alloa earlier tonight (27th March). This ceremony was re-arranged from earlier in the month as a result of the inclement weather at the time. In what the Lord-Lieutenant described as an agonisingly difficult decision and close competition, the winner was Caroline Crawford from Menstrie who receives the award for years of voluntary work in and for the village of Menstrie and in improving the physical environment of the town and the facilities for use of its residents.
