CENTENARY BALL FOR BETTY IRVINE

Betty Irvine 100th Birthday 12.08.24.jpg
Betty Irvine, originally from Sauchie, enjoyed her birthday party earlier this afternoon at Menstrie House when she celebrated her centenary in some style with friends and family. She partook of a glass or two of fizz and was singing and dancing, belying her one hundred years.
Also joining in the fun were Deputy Lieutenant, Sheila Bulloch, who presented Betty with her Congratulatory Greeting from the King and Queen and Provost Donald Balsillie who handed over a stunning floral bouquet on behalf of the local authority. The photo shows Betty with Sheila and the Provost, taking a break in between the dances!
